Both were time consuming & alot of work went into them. Both the patterns came from the parchment mag. The eagle was done with polychromos on the front of the work as you get a stronger colour when you colour on the back the colour is much softer. the birds are the only piece that i've framed & hung in my lounge. i've got a couple of cross stitch pics framede & hung. Its take alot for me to display my stuff.

These are both striking Mandy. I love those whitework feathers on the border of the eagle & the way they pick up the feathering of the image. The two birds have so much cut work it must have taken hours & hours - but it is utterly effective.
